WHY US ?
THE OPPORTUNITY
The on ground affordable housing shortage both in Rural & Urban India is a pressing issue that has significant implications for the country's socio-economic landscape. Despite being one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, India struggles to provide adequate housing options for its population. This shortage is particularly evident when considering the vast gap in housing provisions for different income groups.
Addressing this housing gap presents a significant market opportunity that calls for formal business interventions. Entrepreneurs, developers, and investors have the potential to create innovative solutions that bridge the housing divide. Affordable housing projects, cooperative housing societies, and sustainable rural and urban development initiatives can help create access to sustainable housing for all income segments, especially in rural India.

Size
Traditional red bricks are made from clay, which is moulded into shape and then fired in a kiln at high temperatures.
Material and Composition
Nutan bricks are made from a mixture of cement, fly-ash and coarse sand/crusher dust, compressed to form shape.
The manufacturing process involves shaping the clay into bricks, drying them, and then firing them in a kiln at high temperatures for calcination.
Manufacturing Process
The manufacturing process involves mixing the fly-ash-cement-coarse sand crusher dust, placing it into a customised brick making machine, and compressing it to form interlocking bricks. No firing is required.
The cost of red bricks can vary depending on the region and availability of raw materials.
Cost
The cost of Nutan Bricks is often competitive, due to standardisation of material rates. Cost also depends upon the required strength.
Building with traditional bricks is expensive, time-consuming, as they require mortar and precise alignment during construction.
Construction Speed
Using Nutan brick builds a wall faster due to its interlocking nature which eliminates the need for applying mortar resultantly speeding up the assembly process. The wall thus created is homogenous in strength, stability and pleasing aesthetics. One block is about 3 to 3.5 times the size of conventional brick.
Traditional brick manufacturing involves firing clay at high temperatures, which consumes significant energy and release CO2 & other pollutants.
Eco-Friendliness
The bricks are more eco-friendly as they use upto 50% fly-ash and no firing process is required, reducing energy consumption and harmful emissions.
Red bricks have been used in construction for centuries. However due to inefficient quality control bricks often have cracks, discoloration and widely vary in sizes which results in improper strength & poor aesthetics. It is generally not advisable to use red bricks for building load bearing walls.
Structural Integrity
Nutan bricks are designed to interlock, providing mechanical strength, stability and aesthetics. The compressive strength varies from 60 kgs to 110 kgs per square centimeter, as per client’s requirement. It is safe to build load bearing walls with nutan bricks.
Clay bricks offer good thermal insulation properties, helping to maintain slightly better indoor temperatures. Water absorption is minimum 18%
Thermal Insulation
Owing to their mix of three different components and use of fly-ash Nutan Bricks are equivalent to Red bricks in thermal insulation. Water absorption is maximum 18%.

Why IHS-One Construction ?
In-Situ Construction vs IHS-One Construction
In-Situ Construction

This is a Paragraph. Click on "Edit Text" or double click on the text box to start editing the content and make sure to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.
Advantages
Design flexibility - Allows for more intricate architectural designs and greater customization options.
Structural control - Builders can adapt to specific site conditions and ensure construction meets structural requirements.
Customization - On-site construction allows for adjustments and modifications as needed during the construction process.
Disadvantages
Time-Consuming - Construction from raw materials at site can be more time-consuming, particularly for larger projects.
Weather dependency - Weather conditions can impact construction progress and lead to delays.
Quality control - On-site construction requires strict supervision and quality control to maintain consistent standards.
IHS-One Construction

This is a Paragraph. Click on "Edit Text" or double click on the text box to start editing the content and make sure to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.
Advantages
Cost-effective - Uses locally available materials, reducing transportation costs and overall construction expenses.
Eco-Friendly - Requires less cement and water than traditional clay/ concrete bricks wall, uses flyash resulting in a lower environmental impact.
Faster construction - The dry-stacking system allows for rapid assembly, erection of wall reducing construction time.
Simplicity - Requires less skilled labor compared to more complex construction methods.
Quality - Better quality control, homogenous size, dimensions & strength.
Durability - Nutan bricks are produced mechanically in a controlled environment and do not deteriorate in the serviceable life of a building, thereby reducing the life cycle costing of the construction.
Disadvantage
Design flexibility - Allows for lesser architectural designs and customization options.
